What Mirae Asset Fixed Maturity Plan – Series VI– 3 to 6 Months will invest in
The scheme information document states the objective as: “The scheme shall seek to provide income to the investors through investments in a portfolio comprising of Debt and Money Market Instruments maturing on or before the maturity of the Scheme.”
How it compares with existing fixed term plan
- AMFI lists 1 existing fixed term plan. They invest in quite different things, so their returns are not compared here.
What to check before investing in this NFO
- The ₹10 price is not a discount. Units start at ₹10 only to set the unit count. Returns depend on how the fund's investments move, in percentage terms, exactly as for an existing fund.
- There is no track record yet. A new fund has no returns of its own to judge. The fund manager's other schemes, and how existing fixed term plan have done over several years, are the closest guide.
- Overlap with what you already own. If you already hold fixed term plan, or a flexi cap or large cap fund, check how much this fund's likely holdings would repeat them.
- Direct plan and costs. The direct plan pays no distributor commission, so its expense ratio is lower than the regular plan’s. Over many years the difference compounds.
After the NFO closes
Units are allotted after the offer closes. The fund then publishes a daily NAV and reopens for regular purchases, SIPs and redemptions.
Once a fund has a record, Genvest Research shows its returns against its benchmark, volatility and drawdowns.

No exit load is listed for this scheme.
That depends on what you already own and why you would add this fund. A new fund has no record of its own, so compare it with existing fixed term plan: their costs, their returns over several years and how much they overlap with funds you hold.
